‘Snowmageddon’ comes to Lichfield

When the Met Office issues amber alerts and warning for ‘disruptive’ snow conditions like to hit 20-30cms broadly around the Midlands, you tend to sit up and take notice.

The reality for us here in Lichfield was that, well, it was a bit of a let down. We ended up with 5 cm, but still enjoyed the opportunity to go and explore a snowy nighttime city before it very quickly melted the next day.

It also gave my boyfriend Ian the perfect excuse to try his new DJI 360 camera!
