Peak Bagging – Ramshaw Rocks, The Roaches, Peak District
What a BEAUTIFUL day for a wander around Ramshaw Rocks in the Peak District!
We were going to nip up Hen Cloud, but with two pups tired from scrambling up and down the rocks we decided to head home so they could sleep off all the excitement. Ruby and Frankie LOVE places like this, with the rocky gritstone outcrops turning into a puppy playground in the sun.
A short walk from The Roaches, Lud’s Church and Hen Cloud, Ramshaw Rocks is a great addition to your Peak District adventures, and one to tick off your Peak Bagging list!
Today I’m also trying out the DJI Osmo 360 camera for the first time as well as my new Sony Alpha lens, the FE G OSS Mk II 70-200mm f/4. The Osmo360 being handheld on a selfie stick was definitely a bit tricky when also trying to wrangle two dogs, but it was fun to try out something new!

- Parking – Ramshaw Rocks Layby (free)
- Dog friendly? – Yes but be mindful of nearby livestock and drops which could be dangerous for curious pups!
